about

Delirium is a collaborative indie rock and metal song written by A Song For Artemis and The Flame Incandescent

The song was originally written in the summer of 2019 but was postponed indefinitely due to the covid pandemic and was finally revitalized and finished in 2023.

This song is about fighting to leave behind the blinding truth of poisonous love.

lyrics

Your bright light blinds me
I cant see myself anymore
Feel the sunlight drown me
Let me leave your garden of love

Lost in the reflection
The truth stares back at me
I can't accept it
Its all that's left of me

I'm bound by golden chains
They tie me down
(Even as I walk away)
See your eyes fade
From this place I cant escape

Lost in the reflection
The truth stares back at me
I can't accept it
Its all that's left of me

Lost in the reflection
The truth stares back at me
I can't accept it
Its all that's left of me

Your sweet words got me right where you wanted
Why can't I
Why can't I
Why can't I
Why can't I
Why can't I
Why can't I
